Ford 1.0 EcoBoost and 1.2 PureTech engines (Peugeot, Citroën, Vauxhall) use a cambelt that runs in engine oil. As it wears, it sheds debris that can block the oil pickup and starve the engine. We inspect it, replace it and clean out the sump at our Tycroes workshop, with the price agreed before any work starts.
